“Love” from the bands’ forthcoming new studio album trouble – an April 29th release in the U.S. & Canada, and April 28th release throughout Europe is previewed EARLY on The Alternate Root Magazine‘s (FREE) 2014 Valentine’s Day Sampler. It’s a great collection and we LOVE what they say about the song:
“The Howlin’ Brothers “Love” from their forthcoming release…takes their hill music down to Jamaica’s Blue Mountain for the world’s first sighting/sounding of bluegrass dub direct from recordings in Rasta Holler.”
HOWL reached #30 on the Americana Radio Top 100 Airplay Chart for 2013! A VERY nice showing for our forst time at radio and we’re garteful to be in such distinguished company. Thank you Americana Radio for your support.
The Sun Studio Session – EP has been released in the U.S. and Canada and is available wherever you buy digital music! It will be released in Australia, Europe & The UK around tours in those territories next year. Physical copies on CD are available at shows and via the website. We’re hopin’ a vinyl version will be a “Record Store Day” exclusive on April 19th.
There is a live video form the session for “Tennessee Blues”. The entire session w/interviews will air in early 2014 on over 100 PBS-TV stations in the US. Our episode (#8) will start to roll out in late February and will run when the local affiliates feel like it. Which is okay with us. Last year for example the Los Angeles affiliate aired each episode 36 times.
We’re hopin’ this EP helps keep the conversation goin’ with all our fans who’ve already discovered us via HOWL between now and April 15th next year when we will release a BRAND NEW (as yet un-titled) studio album. Much more on that later…
